In the case of poor behaviour of a player or their parent/guardian, the VU Vultures Netball Club Executive Committee and Team Officials, after an appropriate investigation, have the authority to:
• Suspend players from the team; and/or
• Terminate a player’s involvement in the team

VU Vultures Netball Club may take photographic and/or video recordings of their players to use for training & match analysis purposes and in the Club’s social media publications, promotional and marketing material.
VU Vultures Netball Club may provide such images and recordings to third parties such as Netball Victoria who may use, publish, reproduce, edit, modify and change them in consultation with players and parents.

You are required to disclose all relevant medical information to VU Vultures Netball Club Administration before and during my participation.
You must abide by advice from medical personnel who may direct you not to participate in an event if it is believed your participation would mean an unacceptable risk of:
• Causing harm or injury to yourself or other participants in the event;
• Aggravating an existing injury or illness you may have; or
• Infecting other team members or participants in the event.
In the event that you are unavailable to participate in scheduled competitions or training sessions due to injury, it is your responsibility to keep the VU Vultures Netball Team Manager and Coach updated on your rehabilitation and future availability to re-join the program.

I authorise VU Vultures Netball Club to consent, where it is impracticable for them to communicate with my emergency contact, for me to receive such medical treatment as may be deemed necessary. I do this with the understanding that the VU Vultures Netball Club will take all reasonable care and responsibility to ensure my safety and well-being throughout my participation

Athletes will attend scheduled VU training (where a time clash does not exist) and participate in a modified session under the following circumstances
1. Where athletes have
• representative training
• State Titles team training
• State team training
• Talent Academy/Pathway programs (i.e. VNL development programs) training
• trial activity (SSV, State Teams, Representative Teams, TID etc.)
2. Where other sports commitments or netball programs not previously mentioned VU training is to be prioritised, where VU season was first commitment.
Where athletes are injured they will attend scheduled VU training and participate in a modified session, which may be observational, depending on injury.
There will be no scheduled training
• During school holidays, except the last Sunday prior to term commencing
o Optional training may be made available and does not count towards attendance
• On celebration days such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Easter
• On long weekends
Attendance at scheduled training and games is recorded in Team App and will be a consideration in team selection for Autumn 2025 and court time for Spring Season 2024.

As a member of the VU Vultures Netball Club, you have the following responsibilities:
• Behave responsibly on and off the court, including at sporting venues and attending any social events or functions while representing VU Vultures Netball Club.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that ensures team harmony and do not act in any way yourself that would bring shame or damage VU Vultures Netball Club’s reputation.
• Comply with Netball Victoria and Netball Australia Codes of Conduct.
• Attend a minimum of 80% of the organised team meetings, scheduled training sessions and scheduled games. If you are unable to attend, you are required to give as much notice as possible to your team coach and provide a reason for non-attendance.
_ Exceptions may be available under extenuating circumstance – these must be negotiated with the Coach.
